Managing Progress Payments

Many who have already built a home admit that it’s really hard managing the progress payments. How do you know if you are paying the right amount – not too much, not too little.

NewBuild assumes the daily management of funding for the building project. This includes:

• Determining the allocation of your deposit between the land purchase and the build contract deposit 
• Ensuring your third party guarantee is in place before any payments are made 
• Ensuring your Builders Risk insurance is in place and in force 
• Managing all the inspections for progress payments directly to your builder 
• Making the progress payments, and notifying all relevant parties 
• Assisting with the management of disputes 
• Managing the completion certificate, code compliance certificate and final handover
