Karen started her career in residential lending and progressed quickly to underwriting loans. She has held management roles with ASB Bank, formally Sovereign Home Loans, and has worked with the team at NewBuild for almost two decades.
As an experienced residential lender, Karen draws on 18 years experience in both new and existing business. Karen's last role before joining NewBuild was managing a residential lending contact centre team - providing amazing opportunities to engage and build meaningful relationships with customers. Karen's priority is taking care of our customers through the stresses of building a home.
Karen joined NewBuild at an exciting time of growth, especially with the need to increase construction of new homes in New Zealand. She has a hands-on approach with her customers and is keen to see more people own a new home through NewBuild.
On a personal note, Karen loves a challenge. She have 4 children, 8 grandchildren, 4 horses and 2 dogs.
